Wayfinding App 2026.
Find your way with less stress.
A modern, more inclusive way to navigate the hospital. Hospitals can be confusing — especially for new patients, visitors and staff unfamiliar with the environment.
This project was proposed following the amalgamation of LHCH interpreting with Broadgreen and other NHS services.

What the App Could Provide 02.
Interactive maps
A live plan of the site that you can move around and explore.
Step-by-step directions
Simple instructions, one turn at a time.
Multiple languages
So confidence in English is not a condition of finding your way.
Accessible routes
Step-free options routed as first-class directions, not an afterthought.
Audio guidance
Spoken directions for anyone who cannot, or would rather not, read a screen.
Adapts as departments change
Information that updates with the building instead of going out of date on a wall.
Designed for everyone.
Not everyone navigating a hospital speaks English confidently, or experiences the environment in the same way.
